Yeah, I honestly prefer the bitter but slightly soft boi Saeran. It makes more sense considering what he’s been through. I also am not really enjoying the interactions with the MC. Maybe I’m just not into the sugary sweet talk as a personal preference but i just feel like Saeran (from the original storyline) would have a different dynamic with the MC. Sharper? Wittier? Banter over straight up flirting and doting? I dunno. I haven’t seen the brothers interact yet much (I keep getting the bad ending T_T) so I’ll reserve judgment as to Saeran’s reaction to Saeyoung.

Also let’s not talk about the twisted timeline I’ve tried to make sense of 🤦‍♀️

I hadn't played mystic messenger for probably over a year lol but now I'm back into it and I remembered your blog~ so I was wondering if you're still writing With The Truth In Our Hands? In a short answer, yes I’m still writing it (but only recently) and in a long answer...

As I’m sure many people have noticed, this blog has kinda been abandoned-ish for a while. Besides for zine projects, I had only been checking in every few months—and can I say I’m continually touched by the messages I find in my inbox, even though I’ve had very little motivation or inspiration to write in the past few months.

If I’m being honest, I lost inspiration last year to write—mostly from burn out. Outside of zine projects, I was super busy with grad school and work and job searching (Ugh). Besides, I was slowly losing interest in MM and tumblr, and spent some time exploring new things. I honestly considered giving up on WTIOH or at least leaving it until I felt inspired again.

However!!!! Quarantine kinda gave me lots of time....and a few months ago, I got nostalgic seeing the MM webtoon pics and decided to dig up the drafts and edit and replan parts of the story to make it finishable where I am right now. And I’ve also had fix timelines, plot, etc. with new info from all the new routes. Up to this point, it was just for me to dust off my writing.

But i’ve been seeing some lovely people comment on the story in the past months, so I got on here again to say something and saw your lovely message.

So I guess this is a good time to ask:

Would people still be interested in WTIOH updates even if they’re slow in coming? I can’t promise weekly updates, but I do have the chapters planned/half written or being edited, and am almost done writing it as a whole. If anyone is still interested, I could just do a mass upload and try not to let my perfectionist tendencies delete the whole thing.

What’s everyone’s thoughts? I’m intrigued by parts of the plot but at the same time I’m not a huge fan so far...

Bro yes I would love to see you finish writing it!! Even if its slow or takes years. I think abiut your writing evrry tine I play 707s route and occasionally reread for nastalgia~ however, if youve lost interest, I would /rather/ see you happy writting/doing something else💕💖. Hey! I’m an old fan of your work, and bc of quarantine, I came back to the mm fandom. I reread your works and once again fell in love with them! Your characters are so relatable and they really stick to canon, I mean wow! So I found your tumblr and saw that you might be continuing? If so, I support you 1000% !!
