"Relativistic propulsion using directed energy" = the space drive (at the beginning) which can provide a small 100kg probe to Mars in half an hour. Need only a powerful, megawatt laser in Earth orbit, which its radius hit the small (meter) sail at the probe. The laser beam will push the probe in a vacuum with great force and give her incredible speed. It will reach Voyager 1, which recently (after 40 years of flight) left the Solar System ... in three days, a distance of 1000 AU (astronomical unit is the distance Earth-Sun) reaches in 12 days, and the nearest to us star, e.g. Alpha Centauri (4,5 years light of us), will reach in 15 years. Yet... NASA promised to look at the idea, but in practice - years flow, and nothing changes. Instead, world-governments work for global war and to change whole world into Maghreb/NWO Middle Ages. Re-action-less Drive

Now that we have our perpetual motion generator producing excess power we could use it to power a low thrust re-action-less drive.
I have read about a re-action-less drive that uses microwaves. Could we have one that is re-action-less using magnetism?
Let's imagine. A tubular thrust chamber with the ends closed and a slit length wise. The width of the slit would depend on the way the drive is constructed. The thrust chamber would need to be a higher temperature superconductor.
Inside the thrust chamber would be a electromagnet the length of the chamber. The size of the superconducting chamber would have to be engineered so its field wouldn't enclose the electromagnet. The electromagnet would be charged with bursts of electricity not continuous.
The electromagnetic field would push against the superconductor field and and expand through the slit. The field would collapse and another pulse of electricity would happened.
Would the electromagnetic field pushing against the superconductor and escaping through the slit create very low thrust?
I like to day dream and I am a sci-fi reader.

Interesting diagram! For me enough! Then, is it teoretically possible to make liftoff from, i don't know, Moon, with some kind of magnetic acceleration engine?
Sadly, the answer is no. At best you could get off of Ceres if your ship had a mass of 1.5 metric tonnes. But considering that the VASIMR drive masses about 10 metric tonnes, I don’t think so.
You can figure this out by using the Transit Time Nomogram created by Winchell Chung. Nomograms are a great way to do math without doing the math. Looking at that nomogram and comparing the mass of the drive, you’ll see that most of them don’t have enough thrust to get you off most planets. The LANTR drive will get you off Ceres if your ship is about 500 tonnes in mass, (460 tonnes drive and propellant, 60 tonnes payload)
Now, a NTR-Gaseous open core drive only masses between 30 and 200 tonnes, but it will get a ship just shy 2,000 tonnes off of Luna. So you need fission drives or better to get off a moon.
The net has been abuzz about a device that NASA is building that is powered without any propellant. What this is, my friends, is a violation of the conservation of momentum, as all forces in said device appear to be balanced. As Phil Plait explains, this would require some form of interactions with virtual particles. A beautiful thought, but not likely. Instead, it's likely an error, much like the faster-than-light neutrino we all remember so well. So no, NASA has *not* validated a space drive that doesn't require any propellant.
