Space Fury. Little known fact: this character is a cop and is the first piece of gay representation in a Sega product. I’m kidding. This isn’t even furrybait.

Space Fury / Orbiter 3 (1999) Replay https://www.videospace.fi/release/space_fury_dvd_replay_scandinavia
Got another ColecoVision game, this is a super fun Asteroids knockoff by Sega. On a side note I really love that wood paneled Space Fury arcade cabinet, I want that in my living.
the Alien Commander actually returns as the eighth and final boss of the later Sega game Zektor, even addressing the player and confirming that not only is Zektor a sequel to Space Fury, the protagonists are the same! (Or maybe our large-headed friend is just addressing the person operating the cabinet directly.)
Finally got a good, clean rip of (What I believe to be) all of Space Fury's sound clips! Too bad they're still hampered by MAME's dodgy emulation of the synth used, though... Compare this video, which shows off how things should sound.
As a fun fact, this guy doesn't seem to have an actual name, though the Colecovision port's manual refers to him as the Alien Commander. Hope Sega brings him back once more at some point, he's a cool ass villain. Well-written dialogue, even if he doesn't really have much background or character development.
