#space recs

I haven't really watched any documentaries about space, and I don't know if anyone's suggested it yet, but there's a book that I love that talks a little bit about Astronomy, stars and this kind of stuff. The name's Contact, by Carl Sagan. They've also made a movie about it, and it's not as new as The Martian or Interstellar, but it's definitely worth watching!

p.s any books by Stephen Hawking and Carl Sagan. I love Carl Sagan as you can see.

since everyone said cosmos(the original series is great as well as the one w/ NDT) already I recommend the movie Contact, as well as the book and Gravity. Contact is one of my favorite movies.

i really love 'interstellar'. there's also a book called 'the science of interstellar' by kip thorne which gives more details about the scientific facts of it. it was super interesting.

also book wise i definitely recommend 'the universe in your hand' by christophe galfard. Everything is made so easy to understand, it's incredible

my top space movie would be Moon, Sunshine, Interstellar, The Martian. Also Wall-e is always good. As for documentaries, go for wonders of the universe/solar system. Also neil degrasse tyson is a go-to. (plus star wars and star trek are always fun)
