Well, we have king candy and Vanellope von schweetz! grandfather and grand kid!

Here's some lore, and because of Sugar rush getting into Litwad later on in the timeline there's a game mode for each racer or just race mode. So king candy is actually a real character but is the announcer for the start and end, Vanllenope is a princess! But she wants to be a racer she wants to get dirty but her grandpa stops her. He just doesn't want her to get hurt like her dad.
