Heya, I kinda found you by accident when you were credited as the inspiration for that piece of Space Tony art and I found your original art too! It looks awesome!!!! Out of curiosity tho, what is the whole space tony thing? Couldn't find much in the tags but I saw a couple odd art pieces following the same theme. Did people just go through a phase of drawing Tony like that? Couldn't even really find an AU description

When I originally created those art pieces in 2017, I didn’t have much of a story behind it. I have always been weak to space and celestial things - so when I discovered Space Tony I sort of fell in love with the concept. It was a period in 2017 when it was more of a bigger thing, if my memory serves me right.

At the time, there wasn’t much of a story from me or a lot of others. It was mostly just the design and idea of it, I think.

However, when it was revived because of this collab @coralnoodle and I did, where he encouraged me to color the lineart as Space Tony. We both got very invested in the idea and concept, which led to this piece by Cory. We have, after that, tossed a few ideas back and forth about Space/Celestial Tony and how that would work. It’s far from a proper, concrete AU, but we’re working on that.

Currently, the more primary background understanding of the AU is that Tony is a Celestial being, a Child of the Stars. He’s kept alive by the Space Stone, after something happened to him. Cory and I don’t have a lot for the AU currently, but a plot point that is significant is that Peter is Tony’s biological son. You can bully Cory​ about that one.

Space Tony is my jam. @coralnoodle and I have been tossing around ideas and designs. Cory’s honestly the reason why Space Tony got revived, since he encouraged me to do Space Tony for our collab.

So now Space Tony is back, better than ever.

And he’s slowly getting a story.
