Astra in Action

Drew my oc Astra Skyfall again, laying down heavy fire in a night battle.

This piece proved to be a real hassle, but it came out good. I had CSP crash on me three different times during the process. “The wounded man screamed as I bound the gash in his shoulder torn open by the murderous Tide creature bearing down on us. I'd seen them up close before. Treated these kinds of wounds. I thought this time would be the last. But then, there she was. A titan of a woman, in crimson armor, and hair that seemed to meld into the night sky. In two strides, she was over us, and the paltry barrier of broken concrete that separated us from scything death. We locked eyes briefly- hers were fierce. Burning. Defiant. She raised her weapon, a hulk of black metal that looked more to me like an industrial tool then a weapon. The great insect leapt at her with a piercing shriek, and was answered with a thundering torrent of gunfire. Steaming ichor splashed across my face. More Tide skittered from the dark. Without missing a beat, the woman took fresh aim and let loose with an exultant cry that drowned out their hideous noise. I realized a simple fact. The Tide were not the most dangerous thing here.”

why?

For some reason its really hard to answer that question. Because I can't really pin point what. I've just recently been falling into a rut, and the intense stress of school has slowly been eating at me. I have good days and bad days of how I feel as an artist, and today was just a shit day ha.

tl;tr I'm really critical of myself and I need to get over it.

Thanks! It's just an 'about me' speech so it shouldn't be too bad.

I actually went over to a friend's house today to make sure I wouldn't totally suck, she gave me awesome advice that ill /hopefully/ remember. I just need to watch my pacing, I'm still talking too fast QvQ
