Figured out how to draw Scarlet!
...sketchbook readjustment - process for working up the next panel of the current page of my spontaneous comic. Lost track of the Gorillaz lore & swore that Murdoc was immortal... part of the Four Horsemen? Walking Embodiment of the Black Plague or something...? The inspiration here was a Kelley Jones panel composition - digging the transition from the space station down to Murdoc rather than Dr. Octagon's head speaking (in the ruffs) / mix of Space Dandy & Ultra Heaven for the space station... also looking at Hewligan's Haircut for some Jamie straight jacket styles (Col Erase / Mechanical Pencil / Ink / Scan Cleaned in TVPaint)

Today's Anime Knockoff is this Hooters restaurant chain knockoff, BooBies from "Space Dandy".

*Spoiler Free* Carole & Tuesday, Space Dandy, and Cowboy Bebop are all set in the same general universe with Woolong as currency. Alba is a location in both Bebop and C&T but the worlds are built very differently to align with each story even when happening at the same time.

Space Dandy, an anime from 2014 I had not heard of in a long time until not too long ago when I came across this character from the show, whose name is Freckles (So far, the heads of the show have not revealed her actual name, and I highly doubt they will do that since its been 7 years since the show aired). She stuck around for only one episode, but Freckles became one of my favorite characters from the anime. This minimalist wallpaper only took me two days to complete, and the only part that was somewhat challenging is the blush.
