Nebula: If you could undo one thing in your life, what would it be?

Although there have been many a time in which even the Queen had stopped to ask herself, “Why me?” she would never change a thing that has happened to her. Not the Rose taking her in and turning her into the Queen of Whores, not meeting Zaun’s Merchant Prince and becoming his and his alone, not even the horrors she witnessed as a child that she has since buried deep within the recesses of her mind.

The reason for this is simple: what guarantee would there be that she would be the same person? For better or for worse, changing one thing - undoing one thing - could alter her immensely, and since there is no guarantee that she would be the same or better off with such a change, she would most certainly opt out.

Black Eye Galaxy: Do you believe in love at first sight?

Perceptions of love are all based upon the ideas and experiences of the individual. The Queen is no different; she works within an industry that plays at men and women’s heartstrings, although the feelings exchanged are none so pure and moving. Rather, what is shared within her line of work taints the very concept of love, and yet--

She knows better, knows love well. And doesn’t. All at once.

In her past she remembers (but not really) two people, a man and a woman, who had told her many a time of how they had come to be together. The man was smitten with the woman upon seeing her, and she not so much. Needless to say, however, he was ever persistent, and soon enough taught her to see him in a similar light.

But her life now tells her otherwise, that ‘love at first sight’ was a stroke of luck in their case. For she did not love her akula upon seeing him, nor did he come to harbour whatever it is he holds in his black, black heart for her the moment he laid his predatory gaze upon her. 

As a result, her beliefs on the matter are divided.

Quasar: If you could spend the rest of your life with only one person, who would it be?

There is only one she can think of when wondering with whom she would live her life out with. A man, red of hair - crimson, not of fire like her own - with the demeanour of a shark and a lonely, lonely heart. It is he whom she had pledged her life to, in word and in ink, and until her dying days (or his), she will stay by his side.

For better, and most definitely for worse.

Hydra and Betelgeuse

Hydra: Favourite sound? 

The sound of waves crashing upon the hulls of ships and the docks out in Solovki always brought about a certain excitement. The sound growing louder, after all, signalled she was closer to meeting someone she had long since forgotten. Someone who had once brought her a happiness that filled her in her youth, who had given her every reason to smile as wide as her face would allow.

Betelgeuse: What’s something you can never forget about?

Names and faces escape her, but gestures never seem to leave. A kiss upon her hair, warm hands lifting her up into the air, the sound of a woman and a man singing and harmonizing early in the morning. These things comfort the Queen, almost as much as they haunt her.
