Galaxy Struggles

I'm going to start posting short fiction story snippets here and there. Once I update my website with a wordpress they will go there. Maybe even full stories I may want to turn into comics, or just stories I want to get out. Here's one now: --------------------------------------- Trevor Mallard peered over the edge of the cliff.   Yep, it was bottomless alright. Not a bottom in sight. He walked then, back to his “Observatory,” as he liked to call it- a domed hut, just 6 feet from the newly formed cliff. This cliff, you see, had arrived over night. Just yesterday there had been a beautiful valley connecting the mountain on which he lived, and the far mountain to the south west. Now, just a matter of an over-night, and, there is a huge gulf between the two. There goes my garden as well, thought Trevor.

Turning, he presently walks back into his humble domicile; where a beeping is heard from the inner chamber. Trevor enters the room to read from a screen: >Urgent Message<. Sitting down, he hits a button signaling the computer to determine the origin of the message, automatically inputting the coordinates into the telescope. This telescope, 12 feet in length and 2 feet in diameter sits holstered in the middle of the structure.Outside, the large tube of the telescope can be seen calibrating, moving slightly, and adjusting into place; the inside mechanics and lenses focusing. Soon, inside the eye piece rests a white floating shape in orbit around the planet, sitting placidly set into the black backdrop of space. A disc shape with a slim short body connected, and engine stalks on either side. A switch is flipped, and the message plays. A female voice sings through the speakers:

“Help is requested, I have currently 8 more hours of oxygen… and food rations are low. I am confined to my quarters on the ship…the rest, of my crew mates.. have been  infected….please, someone- whoever can hear this: Help!”

The message turns to static fuzz. The switch is flipped again. Trevor, sitting back in his chair, rests his head on a fist.

 Finally, he utters the words “Space Zombies...”

ive actually known you for a few years via erika, but we didnt really start talking till i rejoined rvb fandom last year, and even then we haven't talked very much! i don't feel like i know you that well, but i would like to. and even though we havent interacted very much personally, i can tell from watching you interact with other people that you really really care for your friends. you're a really generous person, and i feel like if you had the means you'd fly all your friends to a private island just for hangouts or something. i feel like i dont know you nearly as well as i shoudl, though, and id like o get to know you better!!! especially considering we have AN AWFUL LOT of the same friends 8D hopefully we can hang out some at rtx!!!

also, youre pretty dang  good at minecraft, im always impress with your skills (and you play way way more than i do so they are DEFINITELY EARNED)

larissa is a great friend!! ive known larissa for a little over a year now and we became pretty fast friends, which is kind of surprising!! BUT DELIGHTFUL. larissa is hells of fun to hang out with; she is the person i most often watch things with, and when im not sick she is super fun to play video games with!! but MOST OF ALL (and this is what weve bonded over the most) she is a HELLA FUN RP BUDDY. weve done a lot of rp. probably an excessive amount? seriously ask larissa how long feelings au is, its frankly kind of embarrassing

larissa has been through a lot in the last year and miraculously, shes come out a lot better for it. i think she still has a lot to learn and a lot to encounter, but shes grown tremendously in the last year and ilher and im proud of her for getting through all, for serious. also, she is a card-carrying member of the "madi ruind my life club", round of applause here, that takes effort
