Gatsby Garden Party 2015!
Yesterday we were lucky enough to score tickets to the hottest event in Toronto: The Gatsby Garden Party at Spadina Historic House & Museum! Over 50,000 people wanted to go according to the Facebook event, but not everyone can score an invite to Gatsby’s parties!
The fashion was fabulous. Ladies and gents were dressed head to toe in 1920s/1930s! Fascinators, head bands and wonderful accessories were everywhere. It was really incredible to see the attention to detail and creativity in everyone’s costumes. We were thrilled to see so many people dressed in Cabaret Vintage as well, here’s a few we spotted:

Although it was raining for a lot of the day, no one’s spirits were dampened in any way and it meant beautiful umbrellas were everywhere!
We spent hours wandering the through the house and gardens of Spadina Historic House and Museum. Oohing and Ahhing at the lush, decadent rooms and beautiful furniture. If only we could move in! We recommend a tour of Spadina House for any vintage lover! Just divine!
The music was so fun, as was the dancing! People were playing croquet on the lawn and according to Instagram, this must have been one of the most photographed events ever! Search the hashtag “gatsbygardenparty” and swoon!
We can’t wait for next year and are already thinking up ideas for our costumes :) Thank you so much for having us!
