Your art literally makes me cry it is so gorgeous and question: would you ever do commissions?
Thank you so much!! As for the question, well, “ever” contains a lot of time. I don’t know, I haven’t thought ahead about that. Right now, not yet. I’m 16, almost 17, though idk if this has anything to do with it, but anyways having someone pay me to draw something for them would put a great amount of pressure and stress on me because I would absolutely not feel like what I’m making is up to par or good enough for someone to pay me for it, and I’d feel like I’m disappointing the commissioner and getting money that the drawing isn’t worth. With requests I’m drawing for fun and for free, and there’s no pressure of that kind. With a request I can think I’ll do it and then change my mind and not do it because it’s a choice I’m free to make and no harm will be done. But if I agree to do a commission then I can’t decide to just not do it because I’m not feeling like it, someone is paying me so I have to do it. But who knows, maybe I will start taking commissions one day when I’m more confident. Haven’t given it that much thought.
