With over 600 different pasta cuts, it can be overwhelming to try new varieties. Instead of sticking to your regulars — try cooking with orzo. It's a super-versatile option that works well in pasta salads and risotto-style dishes. It can also be used in a variety of cuisines, including Spanish, Italian and Greek recipes. So, next time you're looking to experiment, pick up a box of orzo — the options are endless.
Orzo Pasta with Spanish Octopus, Fava Beans, Chorizo and Parmigiano Cheese
Ingredients
1 box Barilla orzo
4 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
½ onion, minced
1/3 cup white wine
½ gallon, octopus broth
2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
1 three-pound Spanish octopus, cooked and diced
½ lb. Spanish chorizo
1 cup fava beans, blanched
½ cup Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, grated
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Octopus Broth
1 gallon water
1 onion, halved
2 carrots
2 celery stalks
1 three-pound Spanish octopus
1 tsp. black peppercorns
1 bunch parsley
2 bay leaves
Directions
1. To make the octopus, combine the onions, carrots, celery, black peppercorns, parsley and bay leaves in a large pot of water and bring to a simmer.
2. Add the octopus and cover with a lid. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Cook for approximately 45 minutes, or until the octopus is tender. Remove from the broth and set aside to cool down.
3. Then, strain the broth through a fine mesh sieve and place into a pot to simmer.
4. In a separate large pot, heat the olive oil, add onions and gently sauté for 4-5 minutes.
5. Deglaze with white wine until fully reduced.
6. Add orzo and enough broth to cover pasta. Cook continuously, adding more broth as needed, until the pasta is cooked.
7. Sauté the octopus and chorizo separately in a large skillet, until nicely browned.
8. Add the fava beans and season with salt and pepper.
9. When the pasta has finished cooking, fold in the octopus, chorizo and fava beans, as well as the cheese.
10. Garnish with micro-greens and serve.

A comfortable and quirky bungalow fit for a pair of Sims with lofty ambitions. Located in Mirage Park, this home has an open plan living room/kitchen (perfect for hosting parties with all of the celebrities your Sim will meet on their path to stardom) and a garage in the backyard which has been converted into a video and music production studio. This is the home I’ve been using for Hazel and Barrett in my Get Famous playthrough.
(Please ignore the ceilings in these screenshots. My game is inflicted with that annoying ceiling glitch.)
You can find the house on the Sims 4 Gallery here [my Origin id is appulbunce], or download the tray files here: Sims Cloud | Mediafire [both links are no ad.fly].
Make sure to place in build mode with bb.moveobjects on.
