I have an idea for a Vox spanking fic!!
I haven’t been able to write it, it’s just not turning out lol, so hopefully someone else will see and adopt it!
Vox builds a spanking machine. He’s planning on giving it to Val to use on his actors or using it for underperforming employees or something like that…
He sits on it to work on some wiring in the center, and then accidentally slides into the seat/position, and the machine turns on, immediately binding him down, so he’s stuck.
And then in starts spanking him. I’m picturing a comically large hand shaped paddle, but whatever works.
He wasn’t done fixing it, so it doesn’t turn off, it just keeps spanking him and he can’t get away.
Eventually someone comes and saves him, Val or Velvette or maybe even Alastor.

(I recently looked up if a spanking machine actually existed, cause I genuinely thought it was something made up for storytelling purposes.) I never got into spanking machine fics, but they are fun to think about. It's hilarious to imagine someone so determined to punish another person, only to end up getting punished themselves. The idea of it originally being a gift for Val is kind of sweet in a messed-up way. I’m not the biggest Staticmoth shipper, but I still think of cute scenarios with them when I watch the show and read fics.

Vox being an accidental dummy (i.e., clumsy) is my favorite aspect of his character. His being a little excited to give his “on and off again” boyfriend something, only to mess it up because he's a piece of shit— that's peak Vox energy.
Val or Velvette finding him is also a cool aspect. I usually picture private spankings rather than public ones. It’s just easier to imagine since I can never quite figure out how to write a crowd's reaction to what’s happening and what is happening at the same time.
Though just thinking of how long it would take to find him, poor Vox. He is not sitting down for a week. It's cute to think it wouldn't take long for them to see him, considering how often they are in each other's rooms, but it’s also funnier if they were just out of the tower for a bit, causing Vox to have to deal with getting spanked by the machine.
Alastor finding him like that is another funny scenario. If he were in the building, say this was during season 2, episode 4 … Alastor would probs fake helplessness, saying that he can’t possibly help cause he is “tied to the chair”, Vox knowing damn well Alastor can just remove the wires from himself whenever he wanted. Though now that I think of it, when Vox is being spanked, would his cords that are restraining Alastor also loosen?
