I’ve just breached the 100k mark on my TOS/AOS (dealers choice) fic. It’s OC/Spock/Christine and Dad!Scotty. Pretty much everyone is ADHD or ASD presenting and I’m using it to explore my own writing style a bit further so it’s more character than plot.

Summary:

It should have been an easy enough diplomatic mission for the first year of the Enterprise: respond to the call of a planet entering the space age. But when an engineer forces her way onboard, the crew is forced to confront the realities of the quiet planet. For refugee Kanna, the idea of personhood is worth risking her life, but the boundaries of freedom, love, and expression prove more difficult to navigate than she had imagined. As her relationships develop, she muddles through a new emotional landscape where who she wants and what she wants to achieve are often at odds.
