#The Ganon - Zelda - Link thing that LoZ has going on#I felt almost a similar thing pulled off in a different way with PoP08. Three major characters#a 'King/Huge Dude'. 'A Very Important Girl'#'Some Wanderer or Whatever'

you know...  Ganon - Zelda - Link in BotW is kind of like Ahriman - Elika - The Thief/Prince in PoP 08.

the devs did a REALLY good job on Ganon, Zelda & Link - like there’s all sorts of meta and lore all over the place, and if you don’t care about it, then you can ignore it and just play the game, but they did such a good job making it feel like history and kind of alluding to the other timelines and stories.

And even though Zelda isn’t in your party, or shown a lot in game, you can REALLY feel her presence and importance to everything in the game.

Real killers didn’t bother to advertise. And why was the elegant black glove on the other hand? That was an Assassins’ Guild affectation. Yep, guild-school trained, then. oh lmao..  i’m stuck on that Behemoth boss fight in the arena.  I keep dying over and over and over again.  almost tempted to change the level settings because i’m about ready to never touch the game again and just watch videos of the game

HZD rambles under cut for spoilers

you know...  ok so the machines went full AI Revolution and ate everything in sight as fuel, a more gruesome take on “grey goo” apocalypse theory..

here’s the thing though..  The Earth is teeming with bacteria and viruses, and most are necessary for life

did the robots, at the end of all things, as the clock finally starts ticking for them, resort to eating bacteria??

i would think that would be impossible.  Unless the robots just straight up ate all the dirt on earth?

i mean, I get why you see the robots in Aloy’s day mostly grazing or tearing up the dirt - in order to promote growth and mimic animals that filled that niche long ago

so anyway, my question is:  A) Did the robots eat all the dirt in order to get at the bacteria, as a last final gasp before they all died?   B)  Was bacteria reintroduced afterwards?   C)  if not, were most diseases wiped out because of the robots?  D)  I imagine when humanity was reintroduced, they brought bacteria with them because it’s hardwired into our guts and skin

If any pockets of humanity actually did survive and kept to the Vaults, would the humans on the surface be wiped out by disease and first contact, since they don’t have the antibodies or history of those diseases?
