Jesse Sparks trying to shut out the world.
Taken by an enchanted camera.
“I’m right here. And I’m not going anywhere.”
Ginny thought she had found a private place to break down for the day. It wasn’t long before she was no longer alone. Part of her wanted to push him away, but she clung to him instead. She wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in chest as she sobbed. Talking about it was never an option. This was as close as she would get to sharing with anyone. She’d tried with people she was closer to and only learned that she couldn’t.

Ginny hummed softly to herself as she moved around the kitchen, putting on the kettle and searching the cupboards for a snack. It was with great delight that she found a tin of biscuits. She could have the kettle ready in seconds, but there was something nice about the wait for it. Some of the biscuits were relocated to a plate before she put the tin away. It wasn’t long before the whistle of the kettle cut through the near silence of the room. A cup of tea was poured for herself and she was about to leave when she caught sight of Jesse. A small smile was offered, and the mug and plate were deposited onto the kitchen table. “Do you want a cup? And some biscuits?”
