Hello @sparkledeerfr! I don’t think we’ve interacted before, very nice to meet you and your clan. Thank you for the flowerfall!
I opened your lair and got smacked in the face with pretty skydancers 10/10. Thank you for having short clan descriptions in your bio and a link to a dragon that better explains them (also wonderful use of graphics)! It’s always super helpful. Once again I have no idea how y’all keep up with more than one haha. I’m excited to dive in and learn about them all.
Katsu: This was the first dragon to catch my eye for sure. I love the way you’ve layered his apparel, just his appearance alone gives way to what kind of dragon he is. I have to admire his determination and strength. I’m a fan of dragons with missing limbs and he is no different. His relationship with Adeline is endearing to say the least. I imagine him smelling lightly of gunpowder and speaking gruffly with just the slightest drawl in his speech. I keep thinking him of a rough and tumble cowboy that commands an army or steelhounds but I know there’s much more depth to him than that and I love seeing it in his bio.
Bask: His mask and his crackle coloration are what drew me in. I like his role, as I have a dragon who does something similar (but mine makes sculptures instead of carvings). I noticed he doesn’t have a theme and while I can’t quite find the perfect match as only you can, I feel something from the Borderlands 2 OST could fit him well. He’s the strong and silent type I feel, and I want to believe his voice is just the right mix of gentle (nonthreatening) but firm (confident) when he speaks. He probably has to pick bone shavings from his scales and mane a lot. His claws are probably chipped from all the hands-on work he does. It’s all part of being an artist.
Weyland: An automaton! How amusing. I like to imagine the grey parts of his giraffe-like coloration are visible wires and the golden parts being plates. I can’t really pin down why but my brain went to this song upon seeing him. I can imagine he really must be quite a nuisance to the others. He’s like C-3PO but wit h his arrogance switch turned to max. I don’t dislike him though, being what he is I can only imagine not quite being able to fit in but also not necessarily caring enough to try since he already knows who he is and what he’s capable of.
Lady Grey: Now that’s a lady I’d let punch me in the face tbh. The way you described her voice fit perfectly with my own ideals. I love the dynamic between her and her husband as well, and the idea of running a casino is something I’m absolutely enamored with here. I bet she wears the most sweet and luxurious perfumes her gems can buy (and I have to wonder if Swank would like them as well). She’s certianly not a dragon I’d cross paths with.
Okay but regarding Boreas imagine Rho riding up and Hawk leaning over to Adeline and whispering "A twink riding a muscle unit, how surprising." Adeline snorts into her hands.
