How did Sonic endure Jet, let alone the insomnia, which he could get after that (maybe Tails too). How would you picture that? (I love their relationship in your comic :3)
// I want to say first that while I bully Jet affectionately, when I introduce characters, I try to write them as if they were my favorite characters as well. I know how important it is when a character you love shows up, especially in a narrative you didn’t expect it from. His appearance is short but I wanted to highlight that at one point Sonic and Jet were deeply in love and that love never left Jet. Jet has an entire story going on that we never see, his life still moves without Sonic (I tried to emphasize this with Storm holding a bag and sirens in the distance.) He misses him, but he doesn’t hang out by his window every night, only when he yearns for the hog. But his life moves on for the better.
I respect everyone’s ships. Ships make people happy even if I poke a little fun at them. This is why I wrote Sonic the way I did.
