The paperwork is in for full guardianship of Sparky, and his dad and we (the 5 adults who have been coparenting him(bc it takes 3 uncles and their respective partners to field this very lovely very human child)) have determined that my fella was the best option. We're making progress! I uh. Might have a kid in 3 months for real I guess?? Please let my dad's progress towards assisted living also go smoothly this year. Please please let 2025 heal this nightmare of a summer.
You know, I DO think it's funny to take my cute catgirl bard who powers her own musical equipment and then put her in Rakdos color identity.
Dunno if I'm exactly building a custom card for her or anything, but red is the color of lightning and the Lord of Riots himself just feels like a guild I'd throw her into.
Also because the concerts she'd host on Ravnica would be totally killer. Dunno if I'd give her a Spark, or if I'd just keep her as a Commander, hm...
I know Magic has the entire Energy mechanic, but honestly I'm really not all that interested in including it in my hypothetical card design for her.
I am so happy they get along you have no idea :'D
Idea for Sparky's moveset: Thunder Fang, Crunch, Volt Switch, and... maybe Throat Chop? Yeesh i think im.obsessed with damage-only movesets. Maybe something like Protect or Leer would work better.... augh
Okay small update: Straw-Lo and Sparky are bestfriends and she insists on either csrrying him around or tunnjng alongside him and Koraidon. This is cute as fuck
On another note: Arven and I are looking to battle the Open Sky Titan, which sounds like a Flying type and considering i have TWO Electric types this should be a breeze. Kind of concerned about the falling rocks but hey ive already survived devastating head trauma one more couldnt hurt right
Okay Lullay must have hypno'd Sparky to sleep last night he is LIMP on the floor. Like id be worried if I couldnt see him breathing. Im just gonna. Let him nap that off
I know he can't really understand me but i've been trying to talk some love into Sparky tonight. Hes still REALLY torn up about getting thrashed by Great Tusk and is taking any losses since way harder than he needs to. I'm scared he thinks I dont love him as much or see him as weak, and its absolutely not the case!! We all have our ups and downs, and what else was I expecting sending an Electric type against a Ground type???
I'm just gonna do my best to make him feel just as appreciated as everyone else. I really hope he snaps out of it soon :(
