Tell me more, actually, about loving someone despite their ruthless, unwavering support of a fascist empire. About seeing, suddenly and painfully, just how unwavering they are, and how they shift that definition to suit whoever it is they want to protect. How nearly anyone can be their enemy or their ally depending on the context of the moment. About the way being apart from them and in the love of others helps you step away. How you want desperately to come back, some day, to save them. But maybe they were never ready to be saved. And they just want you to fit nicely back into the box they curated for the both of you. And how their love was always real, so painfully, horribly real.
My therapist had me do things that would make me feel safe today during my not-crisis and I was like idk what those would be. So she was like ok well what comes to mind. And I was like drink water, stretch my tense shoulders, and…. Tbh look at pictures of my girlfriend. I’m so silly right?
And my supportive queer therapist was like 🥹nooo you’re romantiiiic 🥹 let’s get to it!
So then I drank water and stretched and then looked at pictures of me with my girlfriend and chat you’ll never believe this but. Pictures of me kissing and cuddling with my beautiful transbian gf really turned around my anxiety attack. Sometimes it really is the basics that make it all better.
Hey. Hey you. I know it sounds stupid and I hate it, but sometimes your body and mind do actually feel a bit better if you’re drinking water and pooping 1-2 times daily and you’ve eaten enough fat/protein/carbs and you’ve moved around a bit and you’ve lingered where some form of uv-b can touch your skin and you’ve spoken to a friendly or even neutral human and you’ve slept 7-9 hours. And when you don’t do those things all the stuff that feels uncontrollably bad might feel worse.
And you owe it to yourself and your happiness and comfort to try. Because feeling even a little bit better is worth it. And you’re worth taking care of, in any small ways you can manage
During my ADHD intake interview i was referred to by my regular therapist, I forgot the question the psychiatrist asked me halfway through answering it. Anyway I’m picking my new Ritalin up at work tomorrow
I thought my depression was just during college but surprise! I may have just always been depressed! It’s just sneaky hidden depression that I could dissociate out of , especially with immersive daydreaming.

Today is my ex’s birthday and evidently Very Important estate paperwork got sent to my old address instead of my new place, and also I had 4 sips of an energy drink and my rabbit heart is racing, and I’m coming off the high of a weekend-long kink event with my incredible girlfriend, and the weather is stunningly nice outside
And it’s all very loud and therapy seems to be working and. I’m grateful to be in this chaos instead of where I was last year. This year is feeling much, much better than last year.
My worries are really reasonable, regular worries but I have a lot of them and I don’t like feeling like this
