OH MY GOSH YEAH ori was the first thing I kin that felt like, right to what I think I look like irl (before I found out about expies and slugcats) which is so wild cause iirc they're kind of like an alien species (?)

Been talking with my kin mom (systemate unfortunately but hey she's still nice!!) been telling some of my close friends about the nitty gritty details of how I'm feeling, I don't know, life is good right now, it won't last forever and I know not to take it for granted but it's. Nice.

Genuinely asking this, so I checked with X support recently and no dice, they can't change my email if I don't know my password for "security reasons" so the current account I have there is pretty much dead like my other old Tumblr accounts.
The thing is, I haven't used it for ages, even before the whole Elon Musk takes over the site, and Grok AI thing being pretty much unblockable until recently, that site. Doesn't spark joy in general. I get recommended drama after drama after drama in the For You tab and switched to the Following tab and then I STILL get people retweeting drama related stuff so I stopped it all together. I do have some moots that use twitter constantly, but even then it still doesn't feel worth it to go back to a hellscape like that.
I use social media to escape my current problems, not get into more serious ones.
