Casting the helmet was a great success.... It fits and everything!!
Finished a new Master Sword and shield in time for Naka Kon! Did a bunch of new techniques this time, really proud of them.
What is this madness? Starting a new costume so early? What has gotten into me?
Eeeee! Only one week left to finish Link for Tokyo in Tulsa!!! So much left to do, lots of all nighters to come! Can I do it??
THE CHAINMAILE IS DONE!!! My mom (who dedicated two weeks of her life to helping me finish this beast) and I figured that it took about 200 hours to finish. (Measured in Star Trek episodes and movies.) There are approximately 20,000 little rings in it. I never want to make chainmaile again. I'm over it.
Working on the apron/bib/dickey thing for Link. Less than a month to finish this beast for Tokyo in Tulsa. I can do this.
Oh yes, my next cosplay is going to be Link! I've never been very good at props, often times they're the weakest part of my costume apart from wigs (which we won't talk about right now)
I'm pleased with how my Master Sword is coming along. It's not PERFECT but it's probably the nicest prop I've made to date. I'm learning alot.
