Being forced from the city could not have come at a worse time -- but then, it was what Crassus had wanted after all. Their numbers declined from those who fell victim to the cold. The snow was falling heavily as a storm raged outside, and though it would force the battle from the Romans to a temporary still, they were now battling a far more formidable foe: winter.
Agron’s concern now lay with his love, as they retired to their designated tent. It was small, but it had to suffice. Agron feared for what the bitterly freezing air would do to Nasir, so he had the other wrapped in his arms, holding him close to offer as much body heat as he could, along with Agron’s blue cloak shrouded over Nasir. They had a blanket, only using what could be spared from the others. Agron rubbed his hand over Nasir’s back, arms and legs wrapped around his lover as he had him nestled against his chest. ”Fuck these elements,” Agron cursed, trying to stifle the shiver from his tone of voice.
