spartan apples!! straight off the tree, these are so crunchy and sweet, i always call them snow white apples because of their colour too!

Yesterday we bought some Spartan apples and more blueberries, these were small and very tart like wild blueberries or Saskatoon berries, AND the last of the season so they keep telling me.
This morning I made mini pies with the fruit, the Spartans were delicious but too mushy like the McIntosh, and wowza holy how the blueberries were tart my eyes nearly popped out of my head. Definitely not like the sweet and fleshy blueberries British Columbia produced this year.
