@spashadow asked me yesterday what name Joris would swear in since Huppermages don’t seem to have their own god. My answer was, PROBABLY ECAFLIP. Because I’m certain he heard Kerubim swear in Ecaflip’s name here and there while he was a kid.

Now just imagine Joris- 500-something-year-old Ambassador, Master Joris Jurgen gets really annoyed and uses the expression ECAFLIPPIN.

Rubi is a grumpy old heirloom by this point, but more than that, Elely didn’t used to sleep all day. She’s a very energetic thing, and Rubi hates to see her acting like she has nothing better to do than sleep the time away. Not that he’ll admit that.
