  He’s rounding a corner through   a back-alley and Dexter walks straight into a body of smaller build than his own;  female with features  that he’s sure he’s seen before. Does he know her?  The question is very  quickly forgotten and replaced with something much different. Fear?  No—— he’s not sure that it’s quite    that easy for him   to feel such an emotion,   but he can feel things    that resemble it.    In any case,    she’s covered in a  bright and alarming red that sits harsh——   stark against pale flesh and elicits the strangest of tugs in a place somewhere deep within the cradle of his chest.    Mom———    chopped to  pieces and left in a compartment while he waited in a    pool of warm red;    blood is a   reminder that he is human, but to be born from  it is to become something much worse;   far more monstrous.  So, why is she covered in it? A hard blink and Dexter collects himself, before his voice breaks the silence.

gOD okay Dexter's plot with Brian was honestly my favorite and I loved Lila's character so much, but no matter how I search, I can't find anyone actively writing her which also makes me sad

Yeah :/.  And there's nothing but Dexter blogs (myself included) when it comes to RPing.  Honestly, the only other characters that are interestingly enough to RP are Dexter's brother, and Lila.
