spazzykiller replied to your post:I would LOVE to talk to you about Mookie Betts...
Omg I wanted the cycle so bad but the triple was ok by me And that catch was beautiful. My favorite ever Brock Holy catch will always be one of his first as an outfielder though, when he laid out behind Gomes.
Yeah, he’s fun to watch. As much as I’m gonna miss Big Papi after the season’s over, between Xander and Mookie and Brock, I like the future of the team (provided Uehura and Kimbrel straighten out their pitching issues - I swear, Kimbrel did NOT have this problem when he was with the Braves. He was automatic lights out for us.)
I would LOVE to talk to you about Mookie Betts because my baby six are kind of awesome. But have you seen Brock Holt? He's pretty and awesome.
Oh man, I was SO rooting for Mookie to hit for the cycle on Friday night - although I guess hitting 2 triples in one game is pretty historic. :D
And did you SEE the catch that Brock just made in the BoSox/Astros game just now??? That was some Alex Gordon level left field defense. Good stuff.
I read a fic a while again and I can't find it anywhere. Steve went though the experiment and it fixes him but he remains small and skinny so it didn't count as a success so they just let him stay in Brooklyn?
I think it might be this one
Lepiodoptera
"I was chosen for a program. A project. They wanted to make…better soldiers. There was a serum, they injected me with it…put me in a—a cocoon, I guess you would call it. The metamorphosis metaphor wasn't lost on me, trust me, only instead of a butterfly, all that hatched was the same old caterpillar."
The serum fails, but that is not the end of Steve Rogers. In fact, that is only the beginning.
