More of the Steven Universe AU!!! Now with Spintenna!! + some doodles

Ok, I think this is the perfect time to elaborate on this AU so here I go after the cut! There will be spoilers for both Steven Universe and Deltarune tho so be aware!

Spearlton is a gem made to be the Perfect White Pearl, completely off-white and without flaws but, while they got close in color, he could be nothing but flawed. Smaller than other pearls, very clumsy at everything, it seemed like any task the average pearl would perform was rather impossible to this gem. But he is just a pearl. It's not worth shattering, specially given how much resourced was needed to try to make it perfect.

He became a vendor Pearl (the Addisons equivalent), moving Homeworld's economy and trying to make sales but, like always, he was failing this too. But he wouldn't give up: the vendor pearls would visit the Diamonds Royalty, offering gifts and deals from their own owners. Spearlton wasn't owned by anyone, not out of choice but because everyone who we worked for just threw him away for being useless, but would still show up, trying to prove his worth for the Diamonds.

Because of that, with time, he caught White Diamonds's attention. She decided to take him, and forcebly fuse him with a black shard of a shattered Black Sapphire. This way, he could use the future vision to prevent errors and, most importantly, she could use this shard to control his gem whenever she wanted, whenever he were, and also be able to spy on the other diamonds at it -- SPECIALLY Pink Diamond.

So she needed to put Spearlton near someone that would work closer to Pink Diamond but not her Pearl. So she gave him to Homeworld's entertainer who Pink would always watch: SpinTenna. Spintenna was a gem that grew up very sheltered. He had no idea of Homeworld's politics or flaws, he didn't even knew what being shattered meant. He was just Homeworld's jester and that's all he needed to know. So he also had no expectations of how a Pearl should act or behave. That was the first time Spearlton met someone who wouldn't judge him from who he is. So he became Spintenna's Pearl, helping him with his show, even perfoming together. He wasn't supposed to be a co-host, just a mere assistant, like a Pearl would. But Spintenna never saw him as less, but as an equal. So it made sense for Spearlton to be his co-host and so he became. There was no changing any idea off his mind. They would always be together, getting closer and closer, sometimes forgetting that White Diamond would use this to spy on them, the studio and on Pink, who would visit them a lot to cool off her mind.

started talking with some friends about Tenna being a Spinel if he were a gem and Spamton being a Pearl and this ended birthing a silly little spamtenna steven universe au lol

i love them so much and they both so fun to draw i cant stop drawing them or thinking about them

I realized I forgot to post those doodles lol

I was missing this silly AU and was trying to figure out how puppet spam would look like as Spearlton and made those to kinda make it in my mind! I'm still not 100% sure of his design but I think I'm getting there!

The idea is that his body is mainly made of limb enhancers and plastic, he's very glitchy and his gem form barely can keep it together without a shell, so he's forced to be part physical and part gem. Also the plushie body, I imagined Spintenna giving him this body so he has a more comfortable vessel that he can more around more freely when they reunite and make-up stuff!!

And of course, their post-reunion fusion ver. of Kunzite!! She's a marketable plushie because of course she is, she is a spamtenna fusion lol I wanted to give her some cat traits and she ended up looking more like a lion and I kinda like it actually!

Don't let her cutieful face fool you, she's a giant, but she CAN change sizes and stretch limbs like Spinels, she just can't change much of her body because of Spearlton's plush body

She's like a mascot and is very dear to me
