Lemuria Phase II is done,

at least when it comes to streams! In 19 pieces we canonized over 800 taxa, probably closer to 900. So here they are again, the Oligocene of Lemuria, laid out for you! Let me know which are your favorite!

For people not aware: Lemuria is a spec evo project of the #paleostream community. It follows the evolution of organisms living on the fictional continent of Lemuria (fusion of Madagascar and India) from the Cretaceous to the Pleistocene. We are in the Oligocene #LemuriaChallenge

Bliil

A common jungle treat that was once simple meal filler, turned to a luxury delight, due to the need of imported sauces. During the rising tensions of Iot pressuring their neighbors to adopt their culture and technical advancements gifted by the Students, a not so reasonable voice demanded they go for the very vein connecting them all. Trade routes. Hindering the prices and policing what they allowed to sell between nations, this would cause a bitter view not upon Iot, but the region that refused their generosity. Parts of jungle territories were losing income being unable to sell their goods further out and make profit. The trade wars would be called off after a deal was made, another ally gained, and the flood of cheap goods and fine cuts flowed to the public and common folk once more.

Bliil contains smoked and chopped back or belly meat (brwee or other blue meat) covered in a semi-sweet fruit glaze, all nicely baked or fried in an herbal bun. On some festive occasions, the buns would be marked with pictures or scripts on the surface, or made with seasonal glazes.

Is SpecEvo exclusively sci-fi or can it be a thing in fantasy too?

This is more a poll question for myself being I do what could be close to be calling SpecEvo with plants (Seed World style specifically) in my fantasy world but I don't want to be tagging my stuff as such if specevo is only for sci fi.

Is SpecEvo Sci-fi only or can it be fantasy?

Blue cable design. model will have 2 of these guys+the F ports which I'm still working on.

Yeah I took heavy inspiration from 15 pin VGA cables. I wanted some cable size variation on the back of the head+umbilical. for all its computer textures Rworld used a ton of textures taken from old computer motherboards and I wanted to roll with that vibe of familiar yet alien.

plus all the variation between old computer cables is neat. I do like everything going to HDMI, USB, and Type-C for sheer usability but I feel like we lost metaphorical computer genetic diversity or something. idk.
