Ornitholestes striking a pose.🪶
The third and final image from our Steam demo's intro! Even when Prati was small, she would eagerly read, watch and listen to everything her handlers gave her access to! It's no small wonder then that she's able to echo back nearly anything she hears.

think I might need to rethink how I colour and shade sauropods, like it's good but I wanna better capture just how ridiculously big they really where

Archaeopteryx - Dino of the Week 7
Archaeopteryx, meaning '"ancient wing". Coming from the Late Jurassic, this dinosaur is most well known for being the transitional between dinosaurs and birds. However, rather they are ancestors to modern birds or just relatives to those ancestors is debated. They still have more features in common with dromaeosaurids and troodontids than to birds. They do have flight feathers but mostly likely they were weak fliers and often glided. They were tiny, the largest species only being comparable to a raven. Archaeopteryx was technically originally described in 1861 from a single fossilized covert feather. In 2011, a study found that the melanosomes in this feather indicated that it was black in coloration. I drew this before I found out, good thing I made the wings a brownish black. I also used ornate hawk eagles and ravens as my bird references.

Maip Macrothorax (scale test)
First time making a fully rendered dinosaur with all the scales hand-drawn, I put this off for three months because it was originally planned to be a fullbody but I decided there was no way I’d finish all that! And thus this drawing was born with a background too :)
Nanotyrannus vs pachycephalosaurus...
I was actually trying to make dynamic looking art. Like, I had a whole ass awesome image in my head. But uh, clearly my skills currently have limits...
