Today I'm sharing a throwback to 2013 for the #specialfinish quilt prompt from @amyscreativeside s #IGQuiltFest this is a #grannysquarequilt I made for a special woman in my families life. She took care of my kids during apple season when we couldn't give them the attention they needed. Every year she saved spots for my kids for just 3 months ... and cared for them and loved them every minute. I never worried when they were there and loved that they cried when I came pick them up - I knew they were in the right place. The amazing wavy quilting was done by @quiltsbybarb - it's perfect for this quilt!!
