I think they thought the audience wasn't really connecting with it??? Im not 100% sure but I don't like it bc now it really takes me out of the story sometimes. Because you know they should be talking Germain for certain scenes (like Franz speech in 3x02) Also CBC would do this thing where they advertise shows and a banner comes up and it completely blocks the subtitles they have up. Im not 100% sure why

if anything the audience appreciated it more with the german in it. that would make sense, i recall that happening with the previews and everything. but i agree i don’t like it either, German is part of the story and you’re right talking in english does sort of take it out of the story

thank you so much for this!! at least i have a little insight on the reason why. still i really hope that they will put at least a little german language throughout the rest of the season because i really did like that aspect of the show

That’s not even allowed. At least at my work if you wanted to buy some thing that is for your family and not for yourself I had to pay full price. That’s not fair that their trying to take advantage of it :(

sounds like them tbh. i was gonna ask how to get it at work today but i’ve decided by now not to bc idc much about having it and the way that they’re being in general
