mason walks the halls of his high school like the building was made for him, and he’s the king. the last part is true. mason is on the football team, liked by so many. boys, girls-- especially girls. which is hard for him to say the least, considering he has no attraction to them whatsoever, and trying to act like he does is painful. he sees who he’s been looking for since the morning and follows him to the bathroom. they’re not even alone for a full minute when he speaks, and what he says breaks mason’s heart. “this. us. it’s real. it’s all real, baby.” he’s not going to pour his heart out in a bathroom in school, but it’s enough and it sounds desperate enough to hold his secret boyfriend over for a few hours, right?

dillion sits there, across from cas at the bean. it’s early, they haven’t slept yet. they spent all night in the mechanic shop talking while cas worked on a car, and then they lost track of time. they talked about everything, memories they had together, dillion’s new life in california, cas and the shop and then somehow it was 5am and they were both tired and hungry. so dillion took cas’ hand and dragged her to get coffee and cookies are her favorite place. she didn’t want to be apart from the other girl. not anymore. once she was with cas... she didn’t want to let go. not again. they were young then, 18. cas had her life in seagrove and seagrove had nothing to offer dillion. but california was full of opportunity for her. it just lacked cassie. she didn’t realize how much she missed the other girl until she was around her. her attitude, her smell, her laugh and eyes. her heart longed for a love like they had in high school. 

dillon opens her mouth to speak and she doesn’t think she actually says anything, until she sees the look on cassie’s face. it takes dillion a full minute to figure out what she said. “you were the only one that even kinda came close.” now she wants to hide, curl up in a ball and get away. how could she confess something like that?

king stares at sullivan just blinking for a few seconds before he squints. “what are you talking about? i took you out for lunch today.”

dimi stood in the center of the church, looking defeated as he looked between reese and his almost husband. he had barged in right before they were announced and dimi hoped he wasn’t too late. silently prayed that reese didn’t change his mind since they last spoke. or many, he just accepted the fact that he was going to marry this man who wasn’t him. who he didn’t really love. “i love every part of you. especially the parts of you that you don’t love. i love every part of you.” pleading to reese, his eyes filled with tears and his hand held out for reese to take. and then reese spoke, “you love me?” dimi couldn’t help the little laugh that escaped his lips, gripping the hand that reese had held out. “I love you.”

bray dresses really simple most of the time. kinda loose jeans with a t-shirt or a sweater. when he has a t-shirt he usually has something thrown over the shirt, like a plaid shirt or a zip up hoodie. also, he has nice sneakers. they always match his outfits. aND AND one of david’s hats. especially when he wears a marvel shirt or a star wars shirt, he’s grabbing for those themed snapbacks from david’s closet. bray also has a really nice watch that he wears once in awhile. on lazy days he swaps jeans for shorts or sweats.

bray is always so cold. so when he sleeps he has five layers on and blankets and his small space heater david in bed with him. but before david, bray would just be sprawled everywhere and cocooned in with the blankets. he was so wrapped up that he you could barely see the top of his head sticking out. but with david in his bed all the time and sleeping with him, bray just wants to be as close to him as possible. holding him so tight and being as warm as he can be. he still moves around but not that much and he can’t sleep if david isn’t right on him. oH, and bray has to have the bed made before he lays in it. like, even if he’s just going in it right after he makes it, he needs it to be made. which brings me to how neat he is.

bray is so neat. no teenage boy is as neat a brayden dean. he has a little routine in the morning where he makes his bed and cleans his floor up a little bit. sometimes, if he knows he’s going to want to sleep in a little later the night before, he’ll set his clothes out just so they’re easier for him to get to in the morning. once a week he’ll like really clean and pull stuff out and vacuum. basically he spring cleans once a week. he just really likes being neat and clean and organized. bray’s desk is crazy organized.

and!!! his notes are organized too. color coded and everything. his classes are too. it’s just really cute. i love my son.
