Hello everyone you need to know
My noodles are such good noodles
It was feeding night for two of them (leo and dzd) and they both ate so well!!! Leo ate one backwards and made me nervous, and dzd missed a few times and hung part of his body off a ledge, for some reason, but when he was done he went right back in his tank!
Exactly what he was supposed to do!
And Leo didn't miss with a single strike, and waited for the m.ouse to get in his tank before coming close to strike! Recently he's been a bit overzealous, and last time he struck at me through the glass which he's never done before, so it was great to see the return of my sweet, cautious boy!
#animal death m#snakes#pets#leodore#DZD#mine#got nervous my posts may be misconstrued so: I describe my snakes in a somewhat anthromorphised manner#I do not allow my perception or style affect how I care for them#I know their habits and what behaviors are normal or not#but that doesn't mean I press their boundaries because they 'trust' me or take unnecessary risks because I trust them#not that I don't love them#I do love them a lot#and I like to think we have a relationship#but there is absolutely no excuse for putting your pets in danger#specifically reptiles#because anthromorphizing them has directly caused so many tragedies#the point needs to be made and hammered in#an example: I try and provide lots of enrichment#but that doesn't mean I don't secure their enclosures#anyway just#in case anyone was unclear on my stance here:#the safety health and happiness of my snakes comes first#always#feel free to reach out if you ahve any questions that aren't answered above#this is important
