Hello! Apologies that my current post is outdated, I legit haven't thought of updating it in a while...

I tend to use like a billion diffferent brushes so I'm not sure which one you'd like... I will be sharing the ones I've made for myself, hope they're what you're looking for

YOUR ART INSPIRES ME A WHOLE LOT!! DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS ON HOW YOU DO IT?? your art is so loose and expressive and fun and i wanna. do that but i feel like i struggle to let myself loosen up... anything to help that would be awesome... but any tips in general are appreciated

HI THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR KIND WORDS. MAKES ME REALLY HAPPY TO HEAR THAT !!! Also so very sorry for the delay to get to this, I've been busy + unsure how to reply to it .... but I will try!

Personally, one of the biggest things for me is that I rarely ever do the sketch -> lineart process. Of course for bigger and more well thought pieces it is different, but even still I tend to do well-done sketches.

I feel like that helps me with being as much loosen up as I want, and I don't really care about the cleanliness of the lineart, I actually love when it's quite messy and you can tell they were supposed to be just doodles for fun!

Also boring part but practing things such as line confidence + studies is inevitable. But it does help you, trust me. The latter is specially very useful if you wanna start stylizing things, such as poses, otherwise you might always come with stiff ones. After that, you will be able to just ball it without even thinking much!

And personally brushes help me a lot too, so it's nice to find the right one you feel comfortable the most... been using mine for a long while now. If you'd like it feel free to look through my ask tag bc I shared it a while ago.

Here's a quick speedpaint to show my proccess of drawing. I don't tend to think much while doing it, I just do what I think looks best lol... which is what personally helps me with the stiffness... also I like to add fun details suuch as tiny scribbles on the character + "movement scribbles" to add more of that feeling of movement.

The finished thing! + another one that I did originally but forgot to hit record aughhhh

have you ever considered posting speedpaints or something? your artwork is so unique i'm so interested in seeing your process

Yes actually! But unfortunately I'm terrible with recording them myself since I get nervous drawing while I'm aware that I'm getting recorded + I get distracted/stop A LOT in the middle of the process

The most I could do is share some timelapses that Clip Studio itself records since I have it activated, I just need to remember to export them or at least still have the CSP file. Here's one that I manage to save!

Maybe someday I will try actually doing an actual speedpaint with a recording software and showing my entire screen, as I really like those
