2) What inspired muse’s code name?
I actually recently just saw Fury and much to my amusement Brad Pitt’s character is named Wardaddy and Miko’s is Wardoggy. His call sign was unintentional, I promise!
Anyway, he earned the name shortly after joining the army. Although, they called him by another... much more offensive name. He was an Automatic Rifleman when he first joined the Polish Army - before he worked with tanks. And way before joining the Commandos. Slowly he worked his way up and became second-in-command/platoon sergeant in his rifle squad and was particularly good at flushing out the enemy much like a hunting dog. He can also be very aggressive, territorial, and very wary of others. Especially, when it comes newcomers. He’s also very stubborn, loyal, and willful much like a dog. Because of this his American superiors dubbed him “Wardoggy” and the name stuck.
The Germans have a particularly interesting name for him as well.
7) What brought you to Ruination? (Dumb luck, friend, Cthulu?)
I guess you can say dumb luck. I was looking for a literate roleplay to join and I happened upon Ruination - much to my delight. I’ve always been drawn to historical roleplays, especially WWII roleplays. I’m a bit of a WWII nerd myself, like many of you!
14) Would your muse adopt a puppy? If so which kind?
Yes, Miko loves dogs. He would probably adopt a chart polski. Polish Greyhound. In fact he had one when he was younger.
Polish Greyhounds have some similarities to other sighthounds, in that they are not overly active dogs, unless they have a purpose to be active. Such as when they are running and chasing prey. In other ways they are very unlike the typical sighthound. They can be dog aggressive, due to their being bred to hunt wolves and can be very territorial. They have a strong pack instinct and will not always accept new dogs into their home.They can be very good guard dogs in the home and they create strong bonds with their owners; in some, this instinct is so strong, they will not accept strangers coming into the home. They are obedient and easy to train, although they can be stubborn and willful.
In other words Mikolaj is very much like a chart polski when it comes to his personality. Hence his call sign.
