I can’t read people

I know that enough is enough, but I don’t know when the enough is

I take things too far and I don’t know when to stop 

I don’t think before I talk and my mouth is too big

Every time I get comfortable around a person, I lose all my filters and my funny banter and all-in-good-taste remarks get extremely mean, unnecessary, uncalled for. I never realise it until it’s too late, so I end up hurting people. 

I don’t want to hurt people I like or love, but I have no limits and I don’t know how to stop myself. I hate that I’m aware of this but that I still don’t do anything about it. I’m always so caught up in the situation that I don’t remember to think twice about what I’m saying.
