Kate smiled and shook her head. “No, you didn’t miss much. Just a filler scene.” She said with a laugh, continuing her motions.

      he nodded, leaning into her touch, 

               “i’ll try not to fall asleep again,” 

       he said, though he was attempting        to suppress a yawn at the same time.

“Yeah thats it thank you it’s the drugs they used on me when i was taken…. the tech need some original samples to recreate it so i don’t end up a vegetable.” She explained tucking the bear and book into her bag and crawling back out. She gave a hard kick to the bed for good measure watching with pleasure as it crumpled under the force

“We can go now like i said easy in easy out mission.” She forced a smile and headed for the hall and stairs that she had memorized all those years ago.

“I can finally put it behind me.” She whispered several names and pressed her fingers into the doorway roughly. This was her moment her way to let go if everything that happened and get stronger. She headed to the quinjet and com'ed that they were ready to leave.

       pietro almost flinched at the sight of the heap of metal        that used to be a bed, forcing himself to follow her. he        was surprised when she explained the contents of the        bag, drugs, vegetable, recreate, and she sounded so        NORMAL when she said it. if he was told to go back to        HYDRA’s base to get some of his old samples he would        have told them to go fuck themselves and then ran for        the hills, let along agree to get them. 

       he silently watched the emotions on her face as she        walked through the building. he almost scoffed, easy and out        mission, easy for him maybe. he looked back at the        pile of brick she had called a building, shoving the        memories of his and wanda’s old home and trailed        her footsteps. he couldn’t help but think she wasn’t as        okay as she seemed at the moment. he took a few steps        closer to her and reached out to grab her arm gently,

              “juliet, i understand how that could have been hard        for you... are you okay?”

       it might have been out of line but he felt it was necessary        to ask.

She frowned. “Oh Pietro.” Her head shook. “I know that you do but she is with someone else.”

              “why does she need someone else? we’ve always had each other we’re all        we’ve ever needed. how is it any different now?” 

       he asked, though he knew the answer.
