A few more speedweave small patches on socks. I tried patching the inside instead of the outside, and to be honest, I think outside patches look better. It will be interesting to see how they feel.

My darns and mends, post a few washes.
The patches do hold, but sometimes I think I should have extended further beyond the hole because the fabric was too worn.
The heavy weight yarn, I think, is guilty of assisting one hole in reforming
I got a speedweave!
Okay so I know some people advocate using patching and that this tool is not it.
However, compared to my normal patching and or just sew up the rip in socks, this is way superior! Look at this. Is it machine thread? Yes, yes it is. Because i have two giant spools of machine thread. I wound it about about 4 fold and its great.
My first attempt at using my speed weave! I didn’t anchor it quite right so it didn’t 100% cover the tear, but I stabilized the whole tear with a patch behind so I think it’ll work.
