"You've no idea what I’m capable of, pal."
"Yeah, wouldn't 'ave taken yew ta be dumb enough ta come up into moi nest willingly loike that, mate." The marksman chuckled, standing up from his post where he usually sat, hand going for his Kukri.
"Thought yer job was just runnin' round the place an' not gettin' killed. Yer certainly not good at doin' either of those, it seems."
speedingnuisance:
“Gonna be real honest with ya here, big guy. Not a clue. That bother ya?”
"Nah, it's not bothersome. Jus' a lil' odd, you know? Do you need help with, er, whatever you're doin' there? It's not like I have anything better to do."
speedingnuisance:
"How many lives have you taken with yer own hands? Yer own two hands, no pistol or nothin'."
"Ah, two in total, perhaps three? I'm not exactly a man of profound physical strength, no."
“Why're you lookin' at me like that?”
Davi raised his eyebrows, lips pursing in a look almost playfully questioning. "What am I lookin' at you like, eh?" The last question sounded somewhat garbled, he knew that, though a lack of absolute fluency in English was to blame for that. Nonetheless, he did love challenging people, especially this Scout in particular.
