For the @speedstarweek day 5 theme of pets! Even as a dog, Speedwagon will always protect Mr. Joestar! I like the thought of Speedwagon as a guard dog, but I also think he'd be cute as a pomeranian, and thus... XD

Jonawagon Week 2022 - @speedstarweek​ Day 4: Shared future - Battle Tendency // Photographs

As you can tell, this follows my Phantom Blood alternate ending: Jonathan survived, which created a bunch of changes in the story that we know. Alongside with his wife Erina, and his husband Robert, Jonathan got the opportunity to raise George II and teach him hamon. This also helped George survive the attack from Dio’s zombie later on and which, in turn, meant that Lisa Lisa never had to avenge him and escape from the law, and so the two were able to be there and raise Joseph.

Joseph still spent a lot of time with his granny Erina and his grandpas Jonathan and Robert whenever the latter two weren't traveling the world on a business trip or an archaeological expedition, and the three would visit George, Lisa, and Joseph in England for vacation.

Since the Foundation has branches entirely dedicated to archaeology and some (secret) others dedicated to supernatural phenomena in the original story, Jona would definitely work closely with all these, doing research, providing his knowledge and skills, and whatnot. As the husband of the CEO of the organization, he would also have some kind of “honorary role” as a “second” CEO. Basically, he's the one in charge whenever Robert is unable to do it himself.

One of the many pros of working together quite often is that Robert and Jonathan also get to travel around the world together pretty often, and it’s something they’ve been doing for years up to this point. Erina joins them too on occasion whenever her job allows it.

While they try to maintain a low profile and keep things discreet due to the views at the time, it’s kind of an open secret that Jonathan is married to Erina, and that he's also married to Speedwagon,and so no one really makes any uncomfortable questions or comments about it. This is partly out of convenience since Robert is one of the richest and most influential men in the world in Part 2 (and thus it’d be a very stupid move to have him as an enemy just because he married another man),and partly because Jona, Robert, and Erina are pleasant to be around, so pretty much everyone just looks past those “taboo” subjects of homosexuality and polyamory. The love in Jona's and Spw's eyes when they are together is undeniable, and it’s the same between Jona and Erina, so it's impossible to hide any of that from the public eye.

As for the main story in Battle Tendency, regarding the pillar men awakening and some other things, it remains more or less the same, with the difference that Joseph didn’t have to fight them "alone" this time. For starters, Straizo’s betrayal didn’t go the same as in the original story, as Jonathan was part of Speedwagon’s group when them, Straizo, and the monks visited Santana’s temple in Mexico. So yeah, a fight between Jonathan and Straizo ensued there when he tried to attack Speedwagon. There's plenty more things that deviate from the og, while others remained the same, or close to it.

And as stated earlier, Joseph isn't the only hamon user fighting the pillar men. He still has Caesar's help, but he also has Jonathan's help, all with the advantage that Joseph started training hamon since he was little.

There's more to alternate BT, but all this should do for now lol (you can always ask for more headcanons and lore tho!)
