tmi : would she ( or they ) rather have an army of dragons or an army of griffons ?

This is honestly the best question.  XD  Under a cut because I thought way too hard about this –

First things first, all my Wardens want griffons, all my Hawkes want dragons, no exception.  XD  So, for my lovely Inquisitors,

Traesa: It depends on the circumstances.  If she was going to have an army of dragons, she would need to have assurances that they were all under control, because she does want to be the asshole with an army of dragons, but she does not want to be the asshole who let said army of dragons destroy Thedas.  Like she thinks Thedas has had enough elves fucking things up, she doesn’t need to add to the list.  XD  She would take dragons over griffons any day of the week (just for pure variety; if you have an army of dragons you have a) aerial superiority, b) elemental superiority (raining? Let’s bring the storm dragons.  Desert?  Fire dragons are gonna wreck.  Sulfur fields?  Poison dragons love that kind of thing.  There’s an incredible versatility to dragon armies that an army of griffons just wouldn’t have. which Traesa would take into consideration bc ‘it’s a fucking army of dragons’ is not enough of a tactical advantage for her XD), c) efficiency (dragons don’t need riders like griffons do; you just send dragons on a field and they’ll wreck shit, plus thanks to Mythal she knows dragons are intelligent creatures capable of understanding complicated orders/concepts and employing their own methods), d) resources (both produce wind, but dragons can produce fire and poison, both of which are very useful to campaigns, e) numbers – griffons have clutches of about three or four probably, but dragons have like DOZENS of eggs at a time, right?  So they can take losses easier.  All of these reasons cause an army of dragons to make more tactical sense to Traesa than an army of griffons); the only downside to dragons are their potential for destruction, so she would need to have that under control before considering fielding an army of dragons.  :)   

Annalissa: Weirdly, despite her borderline-obsession with dragons, she would actually spring for griffons.  She’s killed so many dragons that she thinks that they’re too dangerous to control; she would probably shy away from the idea that dragons could be tamed enough to control, much less field as an army effectively.  She doubts dragons could be relied upon in a fight, and would view them as too chaotic and unpredictable to coalesce with any strategy.  So she would go griffons, partly because of the historical successes of griffon campaigns, but mostly because they’re feathery and lovely.  Also she’s a fan of Wardens, and I think an army of griffons and an army of Wardens is pretty much synonymous (I mean how would you keep the Wardens away??  Beat them off with sticks??  C’mon.  You know Wardens would be dying to get into that army XD).  :)

Analisle: Dragons, no question.  He is fond of creatures that are as dangerous as they are beautiful, which dragons definitely are.  His willingness to harness forces he doesn’t entirely understand for the sake of his own power is a little worrying tbh.  Like he would especially love if he could swing it such that they answer to no one else but him; with an army of dragons, he could do whatever he liked.  (Now that I think about it deeply, giving Analisle an army of dragons is the worst idea ever.  He would slaughter the Nevarran royal family in swathes with his trained dragons, install Cassandra as Queen, and retire to an insanely opulent palace as King-Consort like.  The havoc he would wreck would be terrible and petty, he would be a country onto his own, a dictator in the mountains with his word backed by thousands of dragons.  It would be horrible.  He would be an antagonist. XD).

Traesa: Chocolate – she loves the richness of chocolate, it’s her favorite!  n_n  

Annalissa: Vanilla – she doesn’t really like sweets, so the plainer the better.  She’s a simple girl with simple pleasures.  :)

Analisle: Swirl; he probably likes them both equally, not even so much for the taste, but for the fact that he never could have gotten access to either of the flavors in the Circle.  *nods*

2. Who sleeps in the other’s lap?

Solas has fallen asleep in Traesa’s lap a few times, notably after a long trek in the Western Approach.  It’d been a hard day, clearing out every darkspawn east of Griffon’s Keep, destroying the remains of a Venatori operation to the north, and fighting an absurd amount of giants.  As the sun slipped towards the horizon and Traesa had them make camp, she noticed that Solas was barely able to keep his eyes open and patted her thigh, telling him in her typical abrasive manner that she’d wake him for dinner, but she’d laugh if he fell asleep in his soup.  It’s difficult to make threats using just hand-gestures, but everyone (especially Sera) got the message that anyone who woke Solas was getting holes in them.  XD :)

3. Who walks around the house half-naked and who yells at them to put on some clothes?

They both walk around half-naked, although Solas always dresses before too long (to Traesa’s utter disappointment).  The days when Traesa doesn’t have to worry about being presentable are very, very rare, and she takes full advantage of them, usually going about her business without a shirt or pants.  She’s often working on three projects at once (thinking up trap designs or piecing out an interesting dwarven treatise on complex mechanics or studying Antivan poison or what have you), so there are times when a knock comes to the door and she goes to answer it without thinking only for Solas to go, “Vhenan wait” and Traesa to embarrassedly claim that ‘no she absolutely didn’t forget about pants, Creators, Solas, what do you take me for’.  :) 

5. Which one tries to make food for the other but burns it all by accident and which one tells them that it’s okay and makes them both cookies?

Let’s be real, both of them have little to no cooking skill – the difference is that Traesa still tries (and fails.  Spectacularly.  XD)  Solas soothes her ruffled feathers easily though, always the first to propose they see if the kitchen staff is still awake (and failing that, share some delicious tiny cakes).  :D

7. Which one constantly wears the other’s clothes?

Traesa will always be a thief.  She steals Solas’s things shamelessly, wearing his belts and his sweaters everywhere.  She even got him to lend her one of his wolf-pelts once after her jacket got ruined during a fight – he never did get it back.  She put a hand to his jawbone necklace once and he didn’t even have to open his eyes, just, “I would urge you not to consider this.”  XD  She wears all his things; he eventually stopped questioning it.  XD  

8. Which one spends all day running errands and which one says “You remembered [thing], right?”

Tell you what, Solas would come in weighed down with stuff, and Traesa would just look at him like “Did you remember to get the thing?” and Solas’s brow would furrow like, “Did you ask me to get the thing?” and there would be this scant pause before Traesa would say, “We need the thing.” which both of them know means she damn well did not tell him they needed the thing, and is a little embarrassed about it but won’t give any ground.  And Solas would sigh gently, bc his suffering is long but it’s not the worst thing ever, and say, “It seems I have one more errand to run.”  Traesa would grin a bit sheepishly, but she would lean up on his tiptoes and kiss his temple and say, “Thanks, Solas.” which is not an apology, but it’s enough.  :)

12. Which one of your OTP overdoes it on the alcohol and which one makes the other stop drinking?

Traesa Lavellan has no impulse control, a lot of pride, and terrible friends, so she gets too drunk waaay too often.  XD  Solas tries his best to get her to stop, but Traesa is formidable even intoxicated, and it is nearly impossible to get her to see reason.  He probably has to manipulate her into going home more often than not, murmuring promises low enough for only her to hear (sometimes it’s sexy, sometimes it’s ‘I’ll let you pick what I wear tomorrow’ because Traesa loves him, but she does not fuck with his ‘hobo apostate’ look like by the Creators there is a right and a wrong way to wear butt-capes and Solas was doing it so wrong XD).

13. Which one likes to surprise the other with a lot of small random gifts?

Traesa, in literally the most tsundere way possible.  I looooove the headcanon that Dalish courting involves a lot of gifting (especially of things that have no practical use), and Traesa’s never actually done it before, so she would get all these gifts for him and then chicken out at the last possible second, always using her rogue sneaking skills to her advantage.  Flowers would mysteriously appear on Solas’s desk, and his paint supplies would be seemingly self-sustaining.  Cole always rats her right out, and I can see her blushing furiously when Solas innocently comments that he appreciates the gifts.  After they become lovers, Traesa is a lot more casual about it, tossing things at him and telling him in no uncertain terms that they’re his and he’s not allowed to return them.  :)   

15. Which one screams about the spider and which one brings the spider outside?

Traesa always screams (‘spiders, it’s always the fucking spiders!!’).  She would kill them without mercy, but Solas is a somewhat kinder soul who saves the helpless arachnids from Traesa’s ire.  :)

16. Which one gives the other their jacket?

Solas, not always willingly.  XD  But seriously, Traesa goes through jackets pretty quickly (dang Arcane Horrors, always getting their hooks into her brand-new jacket), but Solas is always willing to give her his wolf pelt when she’s cold.  Traesa not-so-secretly loves that pelt, and stays cuddled in it for as long as she can (it would be a fashion disaster usually, thrown around her shoulders like that, but she works it XD)

17. Who keeps getting threatened by the other’s overprotective older sibling?

Whoo, it’d have to be Solas, but it’s funny because Traesa’s older brother figure (the lovely @capt-spangles‘s Aelin Lavellan) wouldn’t even sit him down to have any kind of ‘talk’, just make vaguely-threatening gestures at him behind Traesa’s back (how much do I love the idea of Traesa giving a flirty smile as she talks to Solas and he’s just about to smile back when Aelin draws his finger across his throat over her shoulder?  The answer is to death, I love that idea to death, omg.  XD)

Kalev likes to collect astray little fluff balls, creatures of all sorts, from the smallest to the biggest; although mostly birds, because he used to be a falconer - still is, on his free-time - so Skyhold ends up being some kind of a Zoo. And oft, you can hear someone curse his name - o-so, if he wasn't the Inquisitor, he would have been kicked ilico presto out of there.

Ahh what a cutie patoot. I feel like I don’t know enough about this oc of yours and now I want to know more <3 I wonder what Leliana thinks about all the extra birds. I assume he would put them with the crows upstairs? That’s where like 90% of the cages are at least. What’s the craziest animal he’s ever brought back? Were there ever any instances where an animal caused a huge fuss with any visiting nobles? That would be a beautiful thing to see.

My turn! Okay so sometimes when Ozzy is down in the dumps and there’s really no words that can be said to help, it’s just one of those days, Fen will hang around him in her wolf form. He misses the wolves that used to follow them around from the days with the clan, and so seeing her like that is pretty nostalgic for him. Also she’s super fluffy and petting dogs is a legitimate therapy technique 10/10 Oz recommends. Plus in that form she makes a very comfy and very warm pillow for impromptu naps.
