Going out past curfew was hardly breaking any rules, Cassie decided. If President Doom really believed that any hero would listen to someone telling them to be home by ten, he was totally insane! Honestly, it sounded a little bit like her stepfather, and that was the worst insult Cassie could realistically give to someone whom was not evil (most likely — every politician was a little bit evil). The patrol she and Tommy were on for the Young Avengers were largely dull, although with demons and militia roaming New York, it really should not have been. It was a little disappointing! Despite being completely mentally sound and one hundred percent healthy, Cassie had a lot of excess grief and anger she intended to burn through punching and kicking and shrinking and growing. Without demons or militia popping up, Cassie had to sit with it, and she really hated that.
After another few minutes went by, Cassie looked over at Tommy and sighed. “Do you think I should grow every thirty-seconds we don’t see anything or anyone that wants to terrorize the city? I could do it by inch, see how big I get before we attract attention.” It was honestly an absolutely awful plan, they would definitely be caught, possible fined, but Cassie was restless and confused! She could only be good for so long… Stinger was like half super-villain, too!
