I’m sorry it took me a few days to notice this message! I’m taken aback that someone is asking after me and my work especially. The last con I tabled was Tracon 2017, after which I decided to have a break since cons and artist alleys are really rough on me due to my fatigue problem and money situation. Another, even more personal reason is that I’m not happy with my current level of art. Like, at all. I’d always stress before cons when making stuff to sell and feel bad when they wouldn’t turn out the way I want to. I’m a bit lost with what to do with myself because, unlike most artists, I don’t have a set style, which can be both a curse and a blessing.

I want to return to tabling eventually, but not before I’ve reformed my supply. I don’t want to circle years’ old stuff but make something new and interesting, preferably something I can be proud of. I was hoping I’d get my shit together this year; the medication I’ve been taking has been a huge help with fatigue, but my concentration is still a mess, and I hope that’d improve too before making any promises.

Oh thank god! My brother would have gone there too today (before the incident happened), but he decided not to (because of the weather), so it may have saved his ass.

Glad to hear you are both okay! And yeah! I mean, police reacted as fast as they could (the culprit was caught only 3 minutes after the first report). But there were still 10 victims, two of them being casualities. Someone’s friends and family members died. Not cool at all.

Love to hear that it’s close to someone else’s heart too (I know max 3 people, myself included, who even consider it.) Oh my god, so much shit is happening right now that I am almost constantly worrying about my friends ;; I am so happy that you are safe though! I hope your friends and family also stay safe! *hugs you*

Thank you. I’m safe and so are my friends and relatives. 8 people were stabbed and 2 died, but the perpetrator was caught fast. The details are still a little shady, so no one knows why this happened in the first place. Police informed that it’s very unlikely a terrorist attack but hasn’t totally ruled out that possibility.

But yeah. It’s... strange when something like this happens so close. My country is small and calm, and I’m not living close to the capital. I do and did not feel that different--except for the moment I called my brother, asking where he was after getting the news. He and his girlfriend were supposed to be out there on this exact day, but luckily something had come up. I couldn’t be happier about that.

It’s disgusting how many incidents and terrorist attacks have happened all around the world lately. Every week has a new catastrophe brewing. I try to not think about that too much, and I feel bad for it. I feel like I should be more horrified about the things happening around me in general.

But thanks for worrying about me. It warms up my chest, really.

I draw pretty much all the time but suck at getting anything finished and uploaded, so no wonder if that gets unnoticed. Uguu… Let’s see.

1. All the cats I’ve raised have ended up being super social and easy to handle. It’s most likely luck, but it makes me feel good that they trust me.

2. I end up remembering most of the conversations I’ve had with people and all kinds of small details.

3. I’ve been able to put my thoughts to words better.

4. Even if my “quality of life” has suffered because of my colorful range of pains and illnesses, I don’t consider myself depressed. I keep on struggling against the fate.

5. I’m a very patient person.

Absolutely! Lavi is scheduled to be released in August, and I can hardly contain my exitement :) I thought my days of figure collecting were finally coming to the end, but then they announced some DGM figures and a Hazama from Blazblue... and my collection was doomed to continue growing. I do not complain as long as I make sure not waste all my money.

Thank you for letting me know! I’ve checked and reported the said repost. For such an old fanart, had they posted it with credits, I might have just shrugged it off--but they even cut off my signature. I don’t really care what people say about my works (insult and avoid them for all I care)--especially if they don’t bother noting or discussing said works with me--but reposting is something I rarely overlook. It’s a bad custom and hurts both artist and the community.
