These Cardamom and Tea Lula Kebabs are a flavorful twist on traditional lula kebabs, infused with the fragrant spices of cardamom and the subtle bitterness of black tea leaves. Perfect for grilling enthusiasts!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef or lamb. 1 small onion, finely grated. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ground cardamom. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1 teaspoon ground coriander. 1 teaspoon black tea leaves. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for brushing.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, grated onion, minced garlic, ground cardamom, ground cumin, ground coriander, and black tea leaves. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined. Divide the meat mixture into equal portions and shape them into long, cylindrical kebabs around metal skewers or wooden skewers soaked in water for 30 minutes. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Place the lula kebabs on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side or until they are nicely browned and cooked through. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve the Cardamom and Tea Lula Kebabs hot with your favorite side dishes or sauces.
