There’s nothing like the eye contact you make with your cat when they start to size up the jump somewhere they’re not allowed to go and you tell them no and they look at you and look at the counter and look at you and jump anyway

I’m slowly letting the cats adjust to more space than just my bedroom so Im letting them wander half the apartment tonight and I got up to go to the bathroom and within 30 seconds both cats had woken up and followed me SCREAMING to “GET BACK IN BED RIGHT NOW”
