I drew Spider-bum and Batbum again from arts and crafts with Chicken, Caterpillar, and Lightning McQueen.
Chicken and Caterpillar (age 8) wanted to add to the adventures of Batbum and Spider-bum after I scanned the first draft. Chicken added the other main characters to my first drawing, and added a bat to his drawing of Bat. Caterpillar wanted to write what would come next: “Now thar on a adventure to find new frends.”
Chicken, Caterpillar, and Lightning McQueen have been going through a phase of telling jokes by attaching the word “bum” to everything, which eventually led to the creation of “Bum World” and this story. After I heard them talking about Spider-Bum and Batbum I asked if they ever had an adventure and started drawing with them.
This is the most immature thing I’ve ever drawn with kids at arts and crafts time. Collab between Chicken and Caterpillar. They asked me to draw Spider-man with a big bum and they took over from there.
