Spiders Dance
Round, round. In a cycle.
Moving, always a few spaces apart. Never touching. Not seeing their partner, but feeling it in the vibrations. They move around each other, never getting to close, maintaining even symmetry. She, the dark, spins the light. He, the light, spins the dark. Weaving together, moving to a song only heard by them. The song of a human soul. A soul of misunderstandings. A soul of abuse. A soul of emptiness. They feel the ache. And the pain. And they weave together a gift for it. Little friends cut from the same cloth.
