i do have this screenshot from the documentary thing though where she spikes a drone camera during the pinky up performance and it's so badass, it gave me spideychae vibes. i was gonna include the full clip but you can only do 1 video per post 😔

seriously she's like locked in on the crowd and then at the absolute last second before the beat drops and she has to move, she lasers in on the drone camera, it's insane

Dani loves to do rounds around the compound peeking in on everybody's room to check in on them before she heads to bed just so she can settle in knowing they're safe

Sophia has a tendency to just pick everybody up as a quick escape because she's stronger and can easily fly so imagine Lara who's decommissioned cause one of her thrusters isn't working properly so Sophia just yanks her up one handed and zooms outta there

The few times the team sees Yoonchae mad is when her and Megan are playing a co-op game and they keep losing the level so much so that Yoonchae rage quits and goes flying for a nearby vent to sulk her losses but she's coaxed back by Megan with her glasses askew giggling for her below the vent opening and reaching her arms up and Yoonchae absolutely smitten just straights up drops down on Megan's arm like a puddle

Lara loves to dress up and Dani loves the freedom of self expression though clothing so they definitely have dates where they go on a shopping spree on whatever country their mission is on just to try on their clothes, Dani would scout out the most obscure thrift store only locals would know

Manon and Sophia would visit the markets especially the farmers market or just any market really, they like to look around finding stuff especially since they both like cooking and I like to think they'd loveee yard sales so whenever they have down time on a mission that isn't really serious they'd explore the place they're in

As for Megan and Yoonchae it'd be cute if they go on a food trip because it would benefit them both since they have such a big metabolism and they get to try new things!

Manon wore a wool sweater one time and when she went to hug Sophia in greeting she got shocked because Sophia sometimes has this range of electricity that surrounds her

The thought of Yoonchae always sad at school really makes me wanna cry so I have this headcanon that the school has some sort of club she joined like maybe a photography club that isn't really as popular so she goes there to hang out and there's this really nice teacher that keeps her company and like before she graduates 👀 shes gifted their old film camera when they were young and a picture with words of encouragement written on the back (I imagine the picture would be some landscape that looks nostalgic like you've been there before even though you haven't but yeah)

sophia absolutely is constantly carrying them around in the air. some of them like it more than others

that's so cuteee my meichae. yoonchae only really expressing genuine frustration over a video game (outside of the context of a fight or something) feels very in character. and megan being all giggly, coaxing her out of the vent...yeah that's adorable

manon and sopha totally like to do slow stuff together like the farmers market thing you mentioned, i couldn't agree more

i've talked about it a little bit before but i think spideychae would be kind of a selective/picky eater post hydra since she was being fed the same 4-5 bland meals on repeat for years on end and any time she was given nicer food, it usually meant she was on a mission where she had to kill someone important. but she has to eat a lot to keep up with her metabolism, like you said. so i think megan taking her out places to get food would be a little more fun way for her to try new stuff, and it's a good reminder for megan that she needs to eat a lot too

that would be so sweet...with the way this au is going, she'd have to drop out before she ever officially finished high school, but that's a nice thought 🙂‍↕️

things i've been thinking abt recently:

megan who tones down her fighting skills during training (very early on) and the team who assumes that the battle of ny was a fluke or that she only fights that good when running off adrenaline. the team who later figure out the real reason is because she’s terrified of them being scared /weirded out by her, and also bc she doesn’t want to have to answer their inevitable questions. 

yeah she can shoot a gun with scary precision but that’s only bc she started carrying one around before her fourteenth birthday. and yeah she’s actually insanely good at reading people’s next actions despite her chaoticness, but that’s bc she’s had practice with multiple people over the years who’d she fought over and over again, dying over and over until she figured out how to beat them.

less angsty but megan dying her hair bc the pink was fading and she had a pinterest board full of possible new colours which she handed to yoonchae to choose for her, something that mattered more bc yoonchae knew (had heard from the vents) that the others had talked at length multiple times about not putting her into situations where she had to choose. the others hadn’t know she chose the colour until megan told them in passing later, but it reinforced their hunch that yoonchae broke all her internal rules for megan, and megan only.

that one sleepover chaperone show that katseye was on - meichae at the end cuddling close and manon being there too is just very them in this au.

manon has bursts of energy in training where she will takedown anyone near, and has occasionally managed to take even sophia down. speaking of training, once a week they train with no powers allowed. after the first time they did this, they proceeded to stare at manon in awe bc like woah, she can keep up with them with no powers at all? (and looks good while doing it)

meichae is practically canon in this au but are any of the others? 

idk this has probably been said but yoonchae was quite short when they bought her in (bc she was young) and then proceeded to shoot up after like a year-ish, and her being the tallest is something that dani specifically tries very hard not to get (in a funny way) annoyed about.

bring back megamarz (?) bc megan and manon would come out with the most outrageous ideas possible and lara would actually go through with it which is why there’s a toaster that sings in the kitchen (in sophia’s voice of course) and an alarm clock that acts kinda like a crazy little dog and (for all my pjo/hoo fans) a table that walks and has a tiny holographic version of son that berates them whenever they do something stupid. every once in a while, when they actually think, they make something good.

meg who tones down her abilities for those reasons and also because she's scared of what hybe would do with her if they found out how adept at fighting she actually is/how good her aim actually is. she doesn't want to become a hitman for them the way that she knows manon, dani, and yoonchae are sometimes used. bonus angst if they only end up finding out how good she is because she like, had to fight her way out of a really scary situation by herself or was trying to rescue one of the others or something

but yeah the reason why she's so good at these things is really heartbreaking. don't imagine 12-13ish year old megan with enormous noise cancelling headphones slipping off her head, being taught how to use a gun in an old bowling alley turned illegal shooting range by the tracksuits

yoonchae choosing meg's new hair color i love your brain bro. "it reinforced their hunch that yoonchae broke all her internal rules for megan, and megan only..." this has me thinking about what other internal rules yoonchae ends up breaking for megan. like the touch one, i think we've discussed. maybe intentionally letting herself fall asleep with megan in the room, despite knowing she might end up having a nightmare or something, etc etc

i feel like tswtnc manon lowkey ends up being both of meichae's safety blanket, if that makes sense. she was there for yoonchae when she defected to hybe. she picked megan up and gave her a place to sleep when she couldn't be in her apartment (shoutout shark anon, that ask is coming up soon). they tend to turn towards each other first, but manon is just an added level of comfort and safety for them

also i know this is about manon but i did find a screenshot of dani doing the same thing and it made me laugh (first two are meichae+manon and the third one is meichae+dani...also peep yoonchae being completely buried in the covers in the first one) 😭

manon randomly taking people out is so funny to picture. but yes!! big ups to manon for keeping up with a team of enhanced individuals, she's their heart tbh

meichae is def canon...the others probably are like in a crazy love sqaure or smth idk. i'm kind of a maphinz truther, but solarz is this au is so so cute...

dude yeah no yoonchae was little when she defected to hybe, partly because she was so young and partly because she was pretty malnourished. over the next few years she gets so much taller and so much stronger, and yeah, dani is a little miffed about it

lara, manon, and megan all awake in her lab way too late at night because m&m are pitching increasingly more imaginative ideas and lara is so so dedicated to making them work. hence all the insane inventions displayed along the table that runs the length of the back wall of lara's personal lab (+i see you with the pjo reference...what was that thing's name again? it was like benedict or something with a b i feel like)

just some fluffy meichae headcanons because im in need of some fluff

they take jinx very seriously. megan started it, she was on a mission to teach yoonchae as many normal teen behaviour as possible and they both said sophia's name at the same time and megan immediately jinxed yoonchae. girl cant speak until she completes a drawing of deadpool kicking ass on megan's arm. took her 20mins bc meg kept slipping out of her hold just to be an ass. the second time this happened, yoonchae jinxed megan and megan cant speak until she gets yoonchae a can of her favourite pringles. it took meg 2 hours to find a store that it in stock and yoonchae was so close to releasing her of the jinx because she kinda missed hearing meg's voice.

megan will start impromptu tag and yoonchae will chase her. doesnt matter if its at the grocery store, out on their walks, just before they about to have a meal(drives sophia up the wall but also makes her so happy to see her babies being happy)yoonchae is a cheater who will use her webs and megan will laugh hysterically as she crashes into yoonchae's arms.

they play thumb wars under the table at almost all hybe briefing that they have to go to. it always starts mild and calm but gets more aggressive until one of them accidentally bangs the table or snorts out loud

theyre perfect to share oreos together bc yoonchae likes just the biscuit and meg likes the cream stuffing

they watch snl together, yoonchae doesnt really enjoy it as much as meg does but she does look forward to megan doing one of her big head-thrown-back laughs and she enjoys when megan pauses to explain the references etc. yoonchae hummed "mmm watcha say" for weeks after that ep aired and megan's heart does a happy little squeeze when she hears it
